Default Happy on IP but soooo tired! Help!

So...week 4 today and down almost 20 lbs. Very excited about that. But, I notice I am always sssooooo tired. I actually took a 1/2 sick day today and came home & fell asleep for 2 hours!

I am following the diet...haven't cheated. (huge accomplishment for me).

I would love suggestions....what am i missing?

I was also tired for along time, but it does get better. What does your day look like with food/water/supplements?

I have been doing IP for 4 weeks also. I do find that I tire more easily. Things that tend to help me not feel so tired is my water intake and if I take my Vitamin D 3 for the day.

About 5 weeks here. I've definitely noticed, if I'm walking up an incline or flight of stairs I get tired and winded.

I am still in the first week but it always feels like I'm slogging through mud or wet sand.

In my 4th week and I am finding that I wake up refreshed and have much more energy now. I do tire easily but once I take a break, I am good to go again. I have heard that it is normal for your energy to come and go in the beginning....

I used to be on the IP diet as well until I found out that their prices are really high cause they private label. Plus, my councelor through the program was like a drill sergeant. I did some research and found that Proti is the same food as IP, but straight from manufacturer. So, the prices are lower. So, needless to say, I quit the drill sergeant and started buying my food from Prescriptions For Wellness.
When I get that sluggish feeling around 2pm, I drink a Smart Styx Vitamin Drink. Tons of B vitamins without the sugars. My favorite thing to do is mix a Proti vanilla shake with an orange smart styx vitamin drink. It tastes just like an orange creamsicle (or orange julius).
Hope that helps!

My doc told me that I need to get atleast 80 grams of protein a day. This food helps me reach my goal. Is everyone else around that same goal???

I follow the program as outlined so I don't count anything...I let the program do it for me and don't mind the extra cost for the convenience of having it be more convenient and less time consuming for me.
Anyhow, I'm in week 5 and have noticed that for the past week and a half, I too have been super tired...I slept in until 1pm today!
Going to talk to my coach at my weigh in Friday and see what she suggests, but thanks for the tips!

I have been dealing with this same issue. I am so tired and worn out to the point of no energy or motivation by the afternoon. My coach recommended Drenamin a whole foods standard process supplement. I read some reviews on this product and they look really positive. I am not sure if it is sold in health food stores or not. I got it from my IP coach since they are also a holistic health practice. I have only taken for a couple of days now. Would love to hear from anyone that has taken this product.
