Wink New to the site :)

Hi everyone! I am a mother of one amazing 2 year old, who is also a full time teacher and wife!! After gaining 50 pounds and going from 157 to 207 during my pregnancy, I was done with all the weight. Lat year I lost 32 pounds and now stand at 175 pounds. My family and I recently relocated to Dallas, TX from NYC and I am now ready to continue my weight loss journey. The plan is to drop at LEAST 20 pounds by June and possibly 30. My ultimate goal is to be between 130-140 pounds and maintain my weight loss. So, that means I have between 35 and 45 pounds to drop. Although I know it is not good to shed pounds so quickly, I REALLLLLYYY want to look amazing this June when I return to see family and friends I haven't seen in a year. I need realistic tips for a hard working full time mom/teacher/wife who wants to drop 30+ POUNDS IN 5 MONTHS. pleassseeee HELP. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated. I lost the 32 pounds last year with 1 hour Cardio and a trainer which I paid tons of cash for. Needless to say I don't want to empty my bank account again and am confident that I can do it on my own. Since we have no family or friends here 1 hour cardio+ weight training each day is unrealistic with a 2 year old. I have been waking up at 4:30 every morning to work out. I started the 30 Day Shred program 2 days ago and will begin 30 minutes on an elliptical next week. I need a realistic and simple diet plan and some motivational words from people who are as busy as me and have lost those last 30 pounds. I am excited to begin my weight loss journey again and look forward to gaining some online buddies who know what it feels like to REALLY want to shed some pounds

Welcome to the site, and good luck on your journey!

I wish I had some tips for you, but I only started last week and by far, I've been doing the Insanity workout, and rather than watching calories, I've been portioning what I eat. I eat whatever I want though..

I know it's not the way to go, and sooner or later I'll end up counting calories. For the moment being, it's working, so I'll stick to it.

I'm 18 years old and have all the time in the world, so I hope other members who better understand your situation have better tips than I do! Again, good luck

Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
