So! I read through the rules and I am unsure about whether or not I can make this thread, SO I won't post any images until I'm sure.
There are lots of inspirational photos out there and images celebration women's bodies in all shapes and sizes, but I know for me, when I see images of bigger women in particular, as well as other women, they're usually kind of strapped in to their clothes, wearing flowy tops or corsets or tankinis, etc. So I wanted to make a thread featuring women with beautiful bodies in either simple lingerie or nude. No porn, no graphic or explicit imagery, only artistic and tasteful nudity and such. Bodies that ANYONE can appreciate! My ideal body type might not be others, so this isn't for heavier or skinnier women, just anyone that people find beautiful.
My personal motivation for starting this thread is that I find it difficult to find such photography of curvy women who HAVE SOME fat on their body, but aren't ashamed of it or trying to cover it up. I found an image today that I really thought was gorgeous and wanted to share it and see if others have similar images. I'm not sure if there's a forum subsection where this would go, so I put it here.

As far as the rules are concerned, I'm not sure...but I'm voicing support of the concept.
I don't imagine much of a problem as long as it's CLEARLY labeled NSFW (lots of people checking in), doesn't become explicit, and doesn't leech off into other threads.
The only concern I could think of is the spam it could incite, users it could offend, and the ages of some users here on 3FC... insuring the images are appropriately tasteful is nigh impossible.
Definitely a good idea for a blog though!

What about technically appropriate images (images that would appear in PG movies, for example--underwear or hand/angle obscured nudity) and marked links to images containing nudity?

Yes, I read that. That's why I'm uncertain as to whether this falls under that. I would not call that image obscene, vulgar, or sexually-oriented, but perhaps the moderators do.

I interpret those rules to mean that those images are not allowed to be blatantly posted on the site. However, links to those images are acceptable, but may be removed if a mod deems it necessary.
So, basically, if this thread provides well-labeled links (as OP has done) and said links are relevant (as OP intended, there are plenty of places on the Internet for pronz), there shouldn't be a need for mod intervention.
While we do agree that women are beautiful at all sizes, 3FC is a weight loss support site that has members of many ages and backgrounds. It is important to keep 3FC as 'family friendly' as possible. While the goal might be beauty, art, and appreciation, there is a very real possibility that such a thread would be a magnet for people who might visit 3FC for voyeurism, rather than weight loss support.
Links to such images would be similarly problematic, and potentially require additional work from our busy moderators.
This would be an interesting idea for a non-3FC blog, however.
