I've spent many months looking for some kind of inspiration and motivation to kick start my weight loss and I think I may have found it here on the forums.
For years after battling teenage chubbiness I spent a very happy existence hovering between 124-131 lbs, UK size 10 sometimes 8. My lowest weight was 118, but looking back at my photos I don't look quite right. I'm only 5'2" but I've got curvy hips and large bust and looked out of proportion!
Somehow over the last year and a half I've crept up to 161 (and breached a unspoken milestone in my mind) and now a size 14.
The last 8 months have been the worst - a whole 14 pounds piled on - because life matters have brought me down, and I truly lost a bit of care as to what I was doing to my body. But now I'm starting to care again and reading some of the stories on here, woman and men alike who've done so well in their weightloss, through all the highs and lows is really motivating.
My ultimate goal is to get back down to 125, and a mini goal of 140 by my 32nd birthday at the end of March.
Thanks for being such a great forum and welcome to my challenge!
