Default It's No Wonder....

....I'm not losing lately and a lesson from TBL. I haven't been logging because CC has just frustrated me to no end. So today I went back and logged the last few days when I've been eating regular meals. OMG the horrors. I took a suggestion from Yahoo to eat a higher calorie breakfast and I'm off the flippen charts for one meal 600 calories. And having not eaten for a week I'm sure my body is holding on to everything it gets. And last night's "healthy" dinner blew that too. I had rice and pork chops and a pile of veggies. I have never been a rice eater so I had no clue rice was so high in calories and we're talking "good rice" not plain old white rice.

I'm seriously back to logging. This isn't working. Granted I've been walking a lot so my intake is balancing out, but that is only going to get me so far. I'm so frustrated with myself right about now it's not even funny.

The lesson from TBL is that you HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO log your calories. If you don't and you just guess, all too often you'll go over. They are so right. I've already consumed half my daily and it's not even lunch yet.

Good for you for getting serious about it, again. It's amazing how much difference there can be between what we think we're eating and what the reality is!

I have to eat a small breakfast and a pretty small lunch or I feel....claustrophobic almost. I have to have a goodish amount of calories left for dinner or I just kinda freak out. My typical breakfast is 220 calories. My typical lunch varries a little more, but is around 300. Then I sometimes have an afternoon snack, but usually not...and this leaves me plenty of calories for dinner, and a little bit to spare.

I just really get anxious if I eat too much early in the day.

THis is me. I am most hungry at night, so I try to have the bulk of my calories then. Usually it's about 1/2 the day's calories!

lifeasme and Bac0s, I am right there with you both...my daily limit is between 1200-1600, depending on the day and how much I've had on other days - but regardless, I always attempt to stay below 600 calories before dinner. 800 before dinner maximum, and if that's the case, I better have had a REALLY TASTY LUNCH. I too freak out if I use too many of my calories early in the day.
