I Know For My Height I Need To Lose At Least 100lbs But I Am Just Looking To Lose At Least 60. I Am Hoping To Get Started Right. If You Have Any Advice That Could Help Feel Free To Give It...Thanks

Hey Ali!

We have a ton of places you might want to check out...the 100 lb club, for those on their way to losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more...the 20-somethings, for those in that age range...and groups by eating plan or for miscellaneous challenges.

So look around, find a spot, and get to posting! You can find all kinds of advice in the plan-specific or general weight loss support forums.

Can't wait to get to know you better!

Glad you joined the club! :P If there's anything basic to start off with it's drink lots of water. It's also good to make sure you aren't restricting yourself too much.

Default Hey!

Just wanted to stop by and let you know that I'm rooting for you too. I'm in my 20's and looking to shed off the pounds for the new year. I hope that we can both get through this year with a lot of progress.

Well I was on the Atkins before and got amazing results. I did not workout one bit when I first did it and lost 50 pounds in like four months. This time I plan on doing some work. lol. My boyfriend and i bought all the equipment for p90x (which u can look up online or on youtube). It gives really great results but the workouts are difficult, but its only for like and hour a day with only one resting day a week. Basically, i'm going to use that as my workout. I wont do it everyday but ill try to do it as much as i can. I wont beat myself up if I miss a day. Thats what makes me quit. i beat myself when i cheat or dont do the right thing, so i say forget and go find me a burger. Not this time. Let me now if you have any questions. it gets easier.

Well Last Night I Downloaded Zumba....IDK Ive Wanted To Do P90x But It Seems Like It Would Be Really Demanding. And I Know Im Wayyy Outta Shape. Does Anyone Know Of Like A Daily Diet That Would Work Great With Zumba (Please Keep In Mind I Am A College Student That Lives On Campus) So Not Really A Lot Of Great Choices On What To Eat. We Do Have A Salad Bar...But Eating Salad 3x A Day Isnt Really All That Great. Kinda Discourages Me

Default cafeteria woes

Ur right, p90x would b rough on a college student. I heard zumba is fun too. Ok when it comes to the cafeteria at school uve gotta be creative. I use. Ask for burgers without the buma. Or get a huge salad with whatevermeat they were serving on the side. I. We had a stir fry line Android would get the veggies and meat. Snack on string cheese too. Make eggs and bacon in the morning. Experiment with different kinds of omelets. I love nathons hot dogs so id eat one or two of those when I got hungry. Drink lots of tea! With a couple of splenda packets and whipped cream, its almost a desert. Hope that helps
