I was on this board in October. 10/10/10 to be exact, by the end of the month I was back to my normal eating habits & not going to the gym. Before that I was going to make a lifestyle change on 1/1/10, that lasted until February. I still pay for my gym membership, never canceled it.
Im hoping that the 3rd time is a charm!! I have not weighed myself since the beginning of November. I think im afraid to. I have to make a commitment this time around, im going to be 40 in April. Im not getting any younger & I know im out of shape & overweight. Im worried that I will end up either having a Heart Attack or a Stroke maybe even Dying. I DONT what to do that to my son's.
No more excuses! I will eat less & more healthy. I will go to the gym OR walk around town! I know I can do this!
and good luck!! i know its a hard first step, but you need to weigh yourself. first, it gives you a jumping off point, so you know exactly where you are instead of guessing.
and for me, stepping on the scale provided me with the kick in the rear that i needed to start doing something.
