Default Oh dear... update
Hi friends...

My really upset tummy from yesterday morning (which I figured was a major case of nerves) - well it turned out to be the stomach/intestinal flu - and a fever of 101. My surgeon told me I had to cancel the surgery set for today. My mom had this last week - on Friday. It's going around. Phooey.

I am beyond disappointed and feeling bewildered.(and sad and mad and frustrated....) I can hardly believe it. DS always uses this expression..."It is what it is" And it's the flu.

I have had a 'nervous' tummy of late - which was normal apprehension, I know. Honestly - bad timing for all this flu stuff. My mom is feeling 'guilty' because she thinks I caught the stomach flu from her. So silly - I told her - I could have gotten it anywhere.

So sorry! You are having a hard time getting this surgery. Hope you feel better soon. Let us know when the surgery is rescheduled.

I hope you feel better soon Beverlyjoy. Bad enough to have the flu, but also the additional anxiety of having to reschedule the surgery.
