Hi all. Well, apparently I registered here ages ago and I can't find if I posted or not.
Anyway, hello! I'm very happy to be here. Not for the first time, I am looking to lose weight and create a healthier lifestyle for myself. I dedicated myself to a healthier lifestyle on November first and I just recently started walking for an hour every morning.
While I feel like I have those piece of the puzzle right, I still have a lot of emotional things to deal with (aka reasons I eat too much). I came here because I don't have a lot (re: any) people to talk to IRL about how hard it is to a.) be fat and b.) be fat in Australia, a country that seems to be in denial about having fat citizens.
So here I am. I have a long way to go, but I feel like if I can get that final piece of the puzzle straight - addressing the emotional factors - then I can really do it this time and will let it stick. And, of course, I'm hoping to make some friends along the way.
