Thumbs down Has anyone tried the FAT FLUSH PLAN?

I just bought the book for the Fat Flush Plan and I wanted to know if anyone had results and/or any comments on this plan.

I am currently doing Atkins and wanted to try and jump start my weight loss. I only have 10 pounds to lose and to say its been slow is an understatement.

I tried the fat flush plan, but I wasn't able to stick to it. I travel a lot for work, and there was just no way I could get all the supplements and cranwater in on the road. There's an excellent message board for it at ivilliage though. good luck.

I did the original 2 week fat flush from the book "Beyond Pritikin." I did it for health purposes as a liver/gallbladder detox and felt AMAZINGLY great on the program!

Make sure you get all the Omega supplements you need. Also be prepared to potentially feel crappy the first day, depending on how much junk food/trans fats are presently in your diet. It's a cleanse as well as a diet.

best wishes!

Today is my first day and so far so good. I can't stand the cranwater, so I have started drinking the cranberry juice straight and chasing it with the water. I would love to hear from others who have or are on the Fat Flush.

Hang in there, asta!

When I was on the plan my DH went to the store and I asked him to buy some juice-sweetened cranberry. He brought back the UNsweetened. After the shock wore off, I was OK with it... And I found that when I went back to the sweetened, it was too sweet! But I did the cranberry in the LL cocktail and drank loads of water all day. And hot lemon-water.

Nice to see you hockeychic. You can search for the book on Amazon.com & read a bit more about it. I'm not an expert. I did the flush as a cleanse from an older book called Beyond Pritikin, but I hear there is a new Fat Flush book out.
