I'm wearing the new beau's Levis!
I was in High School in the 70s when seems like everyone wore Levi's except me. My weight was all in my butt and thighs but had a tiny waist. So a size that was big enough to pull up over my hips would be miles too big at the waist.
Last night I took a pair of just washed current jeans over to the beaus to put them in his dryer to get them to shrink. They're getting a bit big but I don't want to buy a new pair yet. He suggested I just wear a pair of his, he was sure they would fit (32/32). He knows I have a really hard time right now judging my size and even getting used to seeing my "new" face in the mirror. He met me 105 lbs down and could not pick me out in group pictures at my old size even mentally adding the weight so he knows its been a big change for me.
Remembering the tears of frustration from my teenage years (when I was 15-20 lbs lighter than now), I couldn't face even trying his jeans on last night. But overnight I remembered commenting here that my weight distribution seems to have changed so this morning I pulled them on and they fit perfectly! In fact, this is the cut I keep looking for in women's jeans as far as the rise and straight cut on the lower leg is concerned.
Oh, and the added NSV? First time in my life I've ever weighed less than the man in my life and this guy is in great shape, I'm not "winning" the weight game by him being overweight.
