Thumbs up 50 Things that REALLY Matter
I am off work today and catching up on some chores I have neglected while working out of town. I recently purchased a children's book of Bible stories I like in anticipation of my future GRANDchild/ren

Anyway, our bookshelf is getting quite full so I decided to allow some books to head to new homes. I ran across one my ex-wife gave to me as a gift for my 50th birthday almost 7 years ago. It is a cool little book on 50 things that really matter in life.

It was easy to let that book go...no not because my ex gave it to me we were friends then and still 20 years after our divorce. I can give it away because the things in the book are other people's things...not mine...I have my own things that REALLY matter to me

One of them being the list of "50 Things I Love About My Daddy" that my daughter made and gave me on my 50th birthday

We all have people in our lives that matter to us, so I don't think we need to list them....but...events with them should most definitely be added.

I won't list all 50 of mine just yet but I will start with this one ~

One thing that REALLY matters in my life is that my adult children still take time out of their lives to make mine better....last night they gave up their Halloween evenings to dress as pirates and help Angie and I with our Trunk Or Treat event at church Awesome kids...just awesome

One person I am very grateful and blessed to have in my life
is my fiancé. He inspires and encourages me every day to

the blessing I have of hearing my wife play bells in the bell choir at church..

Congratulations on the upcoming baby girl. "Grands" are the best! A little girl will wrap grandpa around her little finger.
