Hi everybody!
I'm new to this board and just wanted to give a little introduction about myself.
My name is Ashley and I am 26 years old. I am a full-time college student (I graduate December 18, 2010). I also work full-time. I am a loving mom to my 3 kiddos. They are all age 3 and younger. I am a not-so-loving wife to my husband. Him and I are in the middle of a divorce.
So, my story:
I've always been overweight-ish. I was very active in Highschool, I played Varsity basketball, softball and soccer. So, I was slender. I never got below 135lbs, and I am 5'1" tall.
Three years ago I gave birth to my daughter, a year after that I gave birth to my second daughter, and a year after that (6 months ago) I gave birth to my son.
So, I was pretty much a baby-making machine for the past 3 years...and it has definitely taken a toll on my body.

My goal is simple: lose weight.
I took the first step a few weeks ago and went to my doctor about starting a weight loss program.
He has prescribed me adipex, and has told me to eat only chicken/fish and fresh veggies.
I try and stick to that diet as much as I can, but....sometimes it's pretty hard.
My starting weight was 228, and I am currently 218.
Last week, I spent most of the week lurking here, and decided to join. You ladies seem so genuine and right now, I could use a support network like y'all.
It's nice to meet everyone!
