Halloween isn't until Sunday but my work celebrated it today because we have tomorrow Friday off. So out of curiosity, I wanted to see the visual difference between my last year and this year Halloween pix. I'm quite pleased with the results. Especially since I only started my weight loss journey seven weeks ago. I went from 163.3lbs to my current weight of 144.4lbs — losing a total of 18.9lbs. Yay! For those of you that have followed my previous posts, I'd like to add that I have increased my calories intake from 500 calories per day to around 700 calories per day. I didn't think I could mentally do it but I've already made it through a week and I'm hoping to eventually feel comfortable with eating more. So thanks again to all you guys for the concern and support! Also, if you have before and after Halloween pix to share — feel free!
Haha. No, those are just ankle socks that I happened to wear last year and this year for Halloween. I wasn't even planning on that! Oh and also, in the first photo I'm wearing pajama bottoms.. Lol. Those weren't actually apart of my Authentic Mexican attire. I guess after my work party last year, I was SO ready to get out of it and slipped on the jammies before hubby started snapping pix.
Thanks for the lovely comments. I plan to re-dress up again for Saturday/Sunday when we'll be getting trick-or-treaters!
You do look devilishly happy, Pudgebrownie. (Though I kinda like the serape in the other picture, too. And you get points for having the guts to try some gender-bending.)
And I am so glad to hear you have been able to eat a little more in healthy calories. You won't regret that. It's a much better way to live.
Okay, but what you have to explain about is your eyelashes this year. What brand of falsies are you wearing, or have you been overdosing on Latisse for a couple months now? Or are you a living ad for Max Factor's False Lash Effect Mascara? Cause I swear that if you fell on the floor, your eyelashes stick out so far that they'd break your fall first before any part of your body hit the linoleum, and they would completely protect you from bodily injury.

Saef, thanks for popping in.
Yes, hubby and I laugh whenever we look at last year's Halloween pix because in some of the photos, I totally look manly. Good times, good times. I think I look more innocent in my.. heavier pictures. I think as I lose weight I get more sinister looking. That's probably just the "sass" that comes with the excitement of weight loss progress. Hehe. Oh and those eyelashes.. Yes I guess I have a bit of explaining to do about those! They're totally fake (phew!). I bought them at a Halloween store off the rack. They're called "Wicked Eyelashes". They were SUPER heavy, seriously. But also super fun to wear for a day.
