I'd be interested to see where some of those statistics are based. About hooters...what do you expect from a restaurant (if you can call it that) thats marketing tactics are based solely on sex appeal, however, they were featured on undercover boss and the CEO made it clear such practices were not company policy but some managers fly under the radar.

Yeah I had the same thought about Hooters. I dunno if it is an accurate report or not, but it was an interesting read nevertheless.

Personally to my knowledge I have never experienced any sort of discrimination because of my weight, but who knows, just because I do not know it is there, does not mean that it does not exist. My *personal* opinion on things like discrimination, is yes, they are out there, and there are jerky people out there...BUT not EVERYTHING that you do not get is because someone is discriminating against you. But I could be totally off base.
