Newbie to the board here! Looking for some friendship & understanding here, especially from people to whom I'm not related!
I lost about 120# last year, went from 300 to 180, in about 11 months. I was unemployed at the time, and suffering from a major depression & anxiety disorder (always a workaholic, never took time for my personal life). I took the opportunity to focus solely on my health, and it felt pretty good!
But after I started working about a year ago, I fell back into my depression, and my anxiety kicked in harder than ever. After all the medications, stress, breakdowns, and a pretty bad car accident, my weight shot back up into the 200s very quickly.
Basically, I've spent too much time isolating myself, and need to get some feedback & encouragement from other people who have been there. I'm hoping I can get that here?
I know how to eat healthy, but I'm having a hard time accepting the fact that I am worthy of doing so! I can't eat dairy, except for yogurt, so a lot of pre-made plans don't really fit with me.
Any suggestions, tips, words of encouragement, are completely welcome! I hope to meet some new friends here, and maybe even help other people who are going through similar circumstances.
