S/C/G: 287.5/276.2/175

Height: 5'10"

Smile New to 3FC but very familiar with being overweight

Hi there!
Last night I was watching the first episode of biggest loser I dvr'd and of course like every other year I am the same weight or more than most of the women on there. I am 5'10" and weigh the most I've ever been at 287.5 as of last night. I am the person who tries then stops and I'm sick of it. I am coming up on my 28th birthday in just over a month and I feel like I'm at this point in my life where I need to decide to be different and do it instead of just talking about it. This is my start. I am still deciding my goal weight.. It's tough with my height because it says such a huge range for a healthy bmi and my doctor says she just wants me under 200... UGHH! for now I am saying 175 and I can't wait to get to that number and decide if it needs to be adjusted!

Looks like I am going to head over to the 100 lb club too.. Can't wait to "meet" any of you!

Welcome! I'm new too. My advice? Because I've started/stopped so often... baby steps. Honestly. It's the only thing that works long-term...

I too have tried many diets and done my share of yo-yo dieting, this is a great site with tons of resources and many encouraging members - Best of luck on your weight loss journey and I'll see you over at the 100 lb club too!
