Sooooo.....I need all you ladies who use wii fit to tell me exactly WHAT to buy. I am on amazon right now, and there are like a bajillion things there, and I am sure that many of them are absolutely not necessary, some are nice, and some are must haves. So all of you who have already gone through this care to help me out?

Hi, I have the "wii fit plus" I've been using it since August 16th along with my diet plan and have lost 24lbs so far. I definitely recommend the wii fit plus instead of just wii fit because it has alot of added games on it.

I recommend getting the Wii fit plus or beyond, if they have it!! I have Wii fit and do not like it. It's ok...but it's not at all enough. I've heard good things about Wii fit plus. The previous version took too long to click through screens and I think there's too much emphasis on balance.

How old is your son? Our young boys love "Outdoor Adventure". That's not as a great a game for you, but it is fun. It incorporates running and jump roping and all kinds of things. I've done it with them. They're exercise but don't realize it.

My son is 15. I will see if I can get him into the wii fit too, as he is not a sports kinda kid, and it would be good for him, but his games will be more along the lines of monster hunter tri, and final fantasy crystal fantasies. LOL

Hi there! I just want to tell you that the Wii Fit was what started my weight loss. I did use it to exercise for awhile, although now I've been running. My favorite thing about the Wii Fit is the scale feature. I love how it records and tracks your progress over time. I still use it to weigh in once a week, and i love looking back at my old stats. I think you are really going to enjoy the Wii Fit.

Get the Wii Fit plus. There's more things to do on it, plus you can put in measurements and steps.

Hey there, just wanted to add in because no one seemed to point this out - make sure you get the Wii Fit Plus software/disc/game AND the Wii Fit Balance Board! Most of the time you can get this in a set (game and balance board) but they do sell the game separately and you need the balance board to do the game!
Good luck, it can be a lot of fun!

You basically just need a Wii Fit Balance Board and either the Wii Fit Plus game disc or the original Wii Fit game disc. I'd definitely go for the Plus, it's the same as the original with added features. I hope you enjoy it! You don't really need a sock or slip cover unless you're traveling with it or you have young kids/animals that could possibly damage it...
