Default Newbie

Hi. Am on my 3rd wk of dieting. Have over 50 pounds to lose. Am counting calories at present and exercising and it seems to be working. wanted to go to ww or similar but can't afford it at the moment. don't want to join a gym due to my size. was just looking on the internet for a forum for dieters and came across this one. just hoping to find somewhere for a bit of support.

Hi Leigh and welcome to the site - you will find it very inspirational and a great source of support. I am approximately the same weight as you and looking to loose about 5 stone but need to get my eating back under control as i seem to have slipped this week.

Have just started exercise again - i go for at least 30 minutes very brisk walk every day and hope to start swimming as soon as i dare!!

Hi Leigh - welcome

Please feel free to join us - post anywhere and everywhere, you will find motivation, inspiration and the occastional giggle!!

When I joined here I was 18 stone 4lbs and been on several diets, it was only when I joined here that I managed to get down to 16 stone 6lbs, I know I have a long way to go but I do know that I wouldn't have got this far without the support of these gals..

http://www.fitnesstakeaway.co.uk
let you " rent " out fitness equipment it isnt too expensive either , right now my bedroom is jammed full with an exercise bike(20 for 8 weeks) and a gravity walker(25pounds for 8 weeks)
they deliver all over the uk too its worth a wee peek though as every little helps , i love it cos when i think im having a heart attack after 10 minutes on a bike no one but me can look disgusted lol

hello again chi chi i remember you ........how did the holiday go ?

Hi Flumper!

The holiday was really good thanx!
I even sunbathed with just my bikini and tiny sarong on once or twice on our patio! Til I noticed this pervy guy in the apartment above was leaning over hi balcony filming us!!

Im saving up for next years holiday now, Im hoping Ill be as slim as all my mates by then!
It was ok this year but I had to pretend I had a really bad hangover once to avoid going to a waterpark (but one of my other mates didnt go either, I think it might have been for the same reason, she's nowhere near as big as me but she never took her sarong off either I noticed!).

Next year I also wanna be able to wear strappy tops out at night coz its sooooo hot in the clubs!

3 of my best mates have gone to uni now and Im hoping when I go to visit them at xmas there will be a noticeable difference!

Well just showed hubby and he didn't need buttering up at all. All I gotta do now is decided which piece of equipment I want to hire.

Have a funny image of your lying in a twisted heap on the floor, arms and legs going everyway - sorry it was just a visual image at the hint.

Ray is waiting to see if he'll get transferred to another site on Monday, if not he'll be unemployed again soon. If he does get shifted I am going to hire a gravity walker for a few weeks, just for a change.
