New Leaf Metabolic Profile
Hello Everyone! I'm new here and looking for some others trying the New Leaf fitness/weight loss program.
I'm in week 6 of the New Leaf program and have lost 10 pounds of fat thus far. I'd like to ultimately loose 50 pounds.
I've never dieted before and though I've been overweight all my adult life, wasn't grossly overweight until the past year or so. My mom and sister were trying to get me to do Weight Watchers, but I knew I needed something more - something that included an exercise program because I've never exercised in my life and my job is VERY sedentary. So, I heard about this New Leaf program being offered at my local Y... so I decided to go for it.
I like the program (which also includes a calorie counting component) and the counselor I'm working with. But, I feel like my weight loss is already starting to plateau (I only lost 1/2 pound this week).
So, I'm looking for a support system of other people on the program who can share their experiences and tips to keep going.
If anyone else is using this program or has in the past, I'd love to hear from you.
