Red face The Freak Out

So I was given the opportunity to go to disney in orlando at the end of next month. I said no, waffled back to yes and they bought the tickets and then i waffled back to no. It's always on account of the plane seats, every time I have to go somewhere that requires a plane, which inevitably brings the freak out. Needless to say I'm a couple dozen pounds heavier than the last time I went on a plane, the last time i was sure I fit. I have 6 weeks and I'm not planning on killing myself over the diet but I'm being far more strict than I usually end up being. The whole..."i'll work out later" thing has ended and it's officially later. The goal is to simply fit in the seat in a way that no one's gonna ask me to get off the plane.. I'm 316 right now. If I lose 2lbs a week before I go I can get close to 300 and I'll be satisfied with that.

Yesterday was a fabulous day in regards to food, was below 1500 calories and burned about 250 w/ a short but intense workout. I'm eating slightly more today on account of not wanting to trigger some sort of starvation mode in my body...as if i need it. But its going really well today and if that's all I can manage I'm grateful for it.

So...uh.... what exactly is there to do at disney for a 300lb person?

to 3fc!
I'm not sure about the "what to do" pertaining to the rides, ect but you sure will get some miles in walking around. If there is something you'd like to do but can't right now, make it a goal. You know like, This time next year I am coming back here and riding the rollercoaster (or whatever type ride you like). You have the power to do this, I know you do. We're all here to help & encourage you
I look forward to hearing about your progress
Hugs & Support on your weight loss journey

Welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Support Group or Challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated, find one that inspires you or fits your needs, and just post to join.

Hi Junyper &welcome to 3fc.
Oh boy but can I relate to you. This summer I took my boy back to Ontario for a visit and we spent a day at Canada's Wonderland. I hadn't been there in about 10 years, but during my last visit I rode the coasters and joined the kids in the fun.
This time around I pretty much begged my boy to ride the old wooden coaster with me. Once he agreed & we got through the wait in line, we excitedly hurried to the coaster. To my horror, I couldn't fit in the seat! I was mortified when I had to tell my boy I couldn't fit and had to get out. I was embarrassed for him and for myself. I vowed that once I returned home I would research a good weight loss program that I could stick to with success.

Finding 3fc has been very helpful as I feel supported & motivated. I'm sure you will too.
Good luck to you with your journey.
