Default Eatings out of control

Its like i completely forgot i was trying to lose weight. I gained back like 2.5 pounds. Ive been sick so its been soup, gatorade and crackers. All 3 have loads of sodium so im not worried to much but im starting to get better and im still eating like crap. I started this on 1200 cals and working out an hr-2 a day and i was losing like a lb a day which was great for my self esteem but horrible now. Im going to try 1800 cals. Start high and work my way down. Im gonna do the gym 3 nights a week instead of 5 to wein myself back into the groove.

Any body have an encouragment or suggestions?

Glad you are feeling better. I bet all of the weight is water weight from the sodium, I have bounced up 3lbs before from sodium.

I think going to 1800 cals may be more sustainable for you. It has been said before, but we have to make this a lifestyle, not a diet and I can not imagine if I were only to eat 1200 cals a day for the rest of my life.

If you're still drinking Gatorade, you might want to try replacing it with coconut water. It's a great electrolyte replacement without the chemicals of Gatorade - I used it when I was on chemo. Glad you're feeling better!

I have heard some pretty great things about coconut water so I guess I will second that. I will say that all you can really do is ride out the sickness and get back on track. Last weekend for three days, three whole days, I binged and went completely off plan and it was awful. I went completely back to my old ways but I felt so awful about it; I had a major emotional-related food breakdown. I also think that maybe if you can to try and focus just on food and not working out. That's what I find helps sometimes, but that's just me. I hope you get better and that you figure things out.
