Hello! Newbie here (day 6) with a few questions for the more experienced IPers out there

My sister and I started this together and we've done a good job of making it thru week 1! Our first weigh in is tomorrow.
I've been reading thru the stickies and the various posts (the weekly chats are very difficult to go thru -- too many pages and info I think) and have a few questions I'm hoping someone can answer and/or give an opinion on.
1. do you use 2 teaspoons of oil each day or 2 tablespoons? I've seen both mentioned but my paperwork states 2 tsp. I think that's too little since I am using it on my salads (no Walden Farm products yet). What do you use?
2. on my paperwork, green beans are restricted to 2x/week. I have given this a lot of thought and I'm wondering if it's to help encourage us to eat other green veggies? I've just about OD'd on broccoli this week and I think I'm going to limit that particular veg but maybe increase my green beans (I use Schwans frozen cut Grade A - very good!). Thoughts?
