Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and joined to get encouragment. My starting weight July 1st was 264! I am now 238 and feeling much better. After a blood pressure scare I decided to get this weight thing under control and to quit letting food control me! My goal weight is 150 and I know this time I will make it work. I bought a treadmill and have been walking 3 miles a day sometimes up to 6 miles! I hope to make some new friends as we encourage each other along this journey!
Wow, you're doing great--26 pounds since July 1!! Congratulations! Welcome to 3FC. There's a ton of great information, advice, and encouragement here. You might check out the various forums and find a group to join for exercise and diet accountability/encouragement.

Welcome. Congratulations on the weight you have lost so far! I suggest you look for a Support Group or Challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated, find one that inspires you or fits your needs, and just post to join.
