Wow. Day 1 sounds so daunting.
Day 1 of Weight Watchers. I've tried it before with varied success, but I blame myself for not being able to stick to it...for some reason I wasn't ready to commit, I guess.
I want this time to be different. I am doing it at home, by myself.
I need support and encouragement. I have about 60lbs to lose.
I would love to hear any tips and pointers from anyone on weight watchers.
Thanks so much!!!
L.
This is not really a tip, but hopefully encouragement. Each time I have started WW, I lost quite a bit of weight the 1st week, but little to nothing in the following 3 weeks. It was really hard for me to stick with it when I felt like I was killing myself with no results. So--at least for now--try NOT to think of this as a way to lose weight, but as a way to make your body healthier by not putting so much of the bad stuff in it. You can do it. (P.S. Once I get over the first month hump, I average a 2 lb loss per week. Everyone is different; just sharing my story.)
hmmm, thanks bighog (lol that's a terrible name!!). That's a good idea. I'll try to look at it that way. It's such a mental thing.
I have to try to figure out what to do if I'm bored, cuz that's when I tend to make bad choices and/or overeat.
Thoughts?
