Default Three Babies in Four Years!

Hi Ladies

I'm on a mission to get my body and my health back after having been pregnant for what feels like forever. I have a 3 month old, a 2 yo, and a 4 yo and all those almost back to back pregnancies have turned my body into a pile of mush. Well....tell the truth and shame the devil...those pregnancies and my giving into every unhealthy food craving I had during them.

So I'm over being fat! I want to fit into my old 'cute' clothes, I want to not be tired all the time, and I want to live a long and healthy life with my family. I also want to help my husband get back into shape, and I figure if I lead by example it might help him along too.

I started last month by doing daily work out videos via my 'on demand' feature through my cable. I did this because I plan on starting a real program next month, ChaLean Extreme, and I wanted to be in at least a little weee bit of shape first. I've also had three c-sections and I was on 5 months of bedrest with my last pregnancy. So my body is pretty much as out of shape as can be. I started out taking it easy because I know myself well enough to know that I would have burned out, hurt myself, and quit. Its also started to make a difference in my eating, I look at something really bad for me and think " I did not just kick my *** in that workout to wipe it out by a two minute food bing."

I've only lost 5 lbs in a month, but I have gone down a dress size. I need to start taking measurments as opposed to going by the scale. I'm at 206 lbs right now, my goal is to get down to 135...so I have a long way to go. I look forward to using these boards for inspiriation when the going gets tough/boring and support for when I just want to say f' it and go eat a large pizza, and cheesecake, and tub of frosting. Thanks for reading/listening and good luck to everyone trying to live a healthier life.

Hey there...I had four babies in five and a half years. Does that count? I now have been blessed with five babies. The oldest is 12 and the youngest is 3. I definately have my hands and heart full. And also the extra poundage to show for it.LOL

Thanks for the welcome and encouragement ladies Its hard fitting in any kind of 'me' time, so when the baby is down for a nap and the boys are occupied I have to take that time to workout whenever I can find it. Makes for a rather odd workout schedule, but it also means I 'have' to work out when I can, not when I 'feel' like it.

One thing you might want to look into is WII, my brother/SIL have it for their family (their kids are 2, 5 and 7) and they use it all the time.. I know their are fitness programs and sports programs also
