I am now officially more than 1/3rd of the way done losing weight. I am 55lbs down with 100lbs left to lose. I wish the rest would come off like the first 50+, but I know it won't be so easy. I should start exercising soon. I know it will help I just don't know where to find the time. I am a business owner and single father to 2 kids under age 3.
Anyways, I just wanted to post I am very happy to be at this milestone.
Wow that is amazing!! It is hard to be a single parent, my husband was also a single parent of 2 children and 2 and 6 months when we first started dating, and he struggled for a long time, not with weight, but with other issues. Long story! Anyways, I commend you on that as well! You should be very proud of yourself, 55lbs is a great loss!!! I don't think it is going to be as hard as you think, if you lost 55lbs without working out, I think if you add some excer. each day, you are going to see a lot more lbs melt away! Good luck and keep up the fantastic job!!!
Congratulations to you on your 55 lb. loss! It sounds like you are a very busy single father. (My son is also a single father and I know first hand it is not easy.) Adding exercise would help you with weight loss so much. Is there a gym that offers child care on site? If not, maybe you can get a treadmill or bench and weights for your home. This would really help your weight loss so much... as a guy, you certainly don't want to lose muscle. But hat's off to you for your efforts... post here on 3FC for support and advice and good luck with your goals!
That's awesome! I know the next won't be as easy - but you've laid such a solid groundwork for yourself!
Fantastic! You might look on eBay for exercise videos for cheap. My husband *tolerates* Tony Horton and Debbie Siebers when weather prevents a run or trip to the YMCA. Also, the Y has membership fees based on income and free childcare for members while you workout.
