Yep, we just post the minutes we walk to this thread and each Saturday I'll tally them all up and figure out where we are on the map.
It would take a long time to chart the entire journey and tally all the miles. I was also going to wait and see if we had any input or requests from people who join in, like a side trip to Baja, Mexico or someone who lives in Canada.
Washington
We're starting this trip in Washington state, which I know a bit about. My favorite place in Washington is Long Beach. It's a small peninsula in the lower left corner of the state. They have the beach on one side, bay on the other, lakes in the middle and rocky cliffs with beautiful lighthouses at the end. This is where Lewis and Clark ended their journey and discovered the Pacific Ocean. They have fun things going on all year round. I plan to run the Beach to Chowder 5k there next June. To learn more about this area and the activities they have year round go to:

Twilight
Any Twilighters in the house? The REAL Forks, WA is located on the Olympic Peninsula, just west of Seattle. It's so much fun! I own a Twilight store where Twilight was filmed, in St Helens, OR but there's still nothing like a trip to Forks!

Anyone else have links or stories to share about Washington state?
