Red face All bets on Medifast

Hi all,
This is wonderful. I need to loose lots and lots of weight; at least 150 lbs. I am a middle age single woman, and have always put others before me and I always have come up empty at the end. So now, its all about me, and hoping to have you all as support. This is my second week on medifast so far so good.

Faithnhope,

I like the Medifast plan, but I eventually changed it to 900 calories a day of food. You get a surprising lot of food if you're eating heart healthy items for 900 calories.
My metabolism actually went back to normal - I was finding myself hungry just before meal time with no sugar or carb cravings in between. That was working very well for me until life got in the way amd I consciously went off.

I'm just recommitting and hadn't decided on a diet plan but I think I'll go with the 900 a day again. Try it for 90 days and see how far I get. Thanks for the reminder and good luck to you!

Smile 1st day on Medifast

Well, I've just had my first shake, and it wasn't too bad. Looking forward to not thinking too much about what I should fix for meals. I have 110lbs to lose. Looking forward to making some friends along the way!

Well today's my first day. I've had a rough year and I eat when things get bad. I fell (slipped on the wet floor) in my office last week and I felt so embarrased. I couldn't get up without help. I feel like a big round ball of blubber so it's time. My plan is to eat 500 calories less than I need and to burn an extra 500 calories off a day. That should compute to a 2-pound-a-week loss. This is going to take a long time, but I'm hoping if I come here and post every day, it will help keep me accountable.

Looking forward to exploring this web-site.
