Getting Back on Track
I am 23 years old, and I have been in fairly decent shape throughout my younger years. However, when college started and I started slowly to gain some pounds. It was very unnoticeable at first, but over the years, they are really adding up.
It's not just the weight, but also health related. A few months ago, I had a blood test and it revealed I had pretty high cholesterol. This shocked me as I did not expect this at this age, so I've been working on my diet and somewhat on my exercise. So a few weeks ago, I got another blood test and it revealed that my cholesterol levels are at normal levels now. I am happy with these results and hope things continue this way for me.
As for weight, I don't think I have a set goal weight that's set in stone. But my current goal weight is what I assume I would be happy with looking myself in the mirror. I decided I want to take action now before it just becomes more difficult down the road. So I thought I'd join this community for some support. I'm pretty much motivated already, but I'm looking for that extra motivation to push myself even further and to not give up.
