Default New From Michigan...

hi, I just happened to come across this place, looking for something else!

I have FMS,Total knee replacement coming up on july 15th. want to quit smoking on the same day i go into the hospital, will have a 4 days stay, so hoping i can kick it. My Doc said he will do everything to help me,if i need patches, just holler!
i don't see myself as heavy, until i see a picture of myself. then i am shocked and disgusted.
I hope to find support, and ideas on how to move, with the bad knees and Fibro. I hope to give support to. Kim

ps, can i post the weight tracker thing to my posts?
and are "trackbacks" needed?

Hi and welcome to 3FC.

You have to be a member 20 days and have 20 posts to have the ticker in your signature. I have no idea what trackbacks are, sorry.

Good luck with your goals.

Hugs
Michelle

Welcome. Since Chicks can be overwhelming at first, I suggest you look for a support group or challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated. Find one you like that fits your needs, or inspires you, and just post to join.

I've known several women who have had knee replacements, one even both at once, and they are doing great. I'm sure you will do just as well.

Default I wish you well

on your journey. I, too, will be facing knee replacement, but must lose the weight first.
