Default Arrrgh !! Too many Hen nights!!! Help!

For some gods-unknown reason everyone seems to be getting married this year! . I appear to have survived the hen weekend in spain relatively unscathed weightwise , but have had to already attend a chinese ( I tried, I really did try to eat the least unealthy looking things there ) and now this week I have to go to a bloody Indian! Then next week a wedding with a meal and buffet afterwards!!

I can't just refuse as these people are very old friends whom I've known since primary school.

I don't often go for an Indian so I wondered what the least fattening thing to have would be, if anyone was/is a regular partaker of typical curryhouse indian food can you make a suggestion to help at all? .

Isn't chicken tikka (not the masala curry ) the chunks of "dry" spiced chicken on a skewer type thing? Have I got that right? I figured that might be reasonable. I could order a salad with it perhaps?

I would be a bit upset if one of my friends didn't come on a hen night because they were dieting, so you're definitely doing the right thing!

You should be totally fine with tikka chicken, which is chicken breast marinated and then grilled. I'd check the calories of a similar product on a supermarket shopping site too, just to see - I do this quite a lot and it really helps! There should be salads available, but avoid all the bread products like the plague, they are stupidly high in calories! Naan bread is something like 500 calories or more!

Sorry I only just saw this! The dry chicken tikka is what I always have too. It comes with salad but I ask for an extra one as well. The waiters always look at me like I'm nuts
