Default Best Books?

Ok... so... I'm going to go by half-price books tomorrow and while I'm there am planning on picking up a few magazines (random teen ones), maybe a summer reading book or two... and of course... a calorie counting book.

After this past week's travel dietary fiasco (I will be posting a thread in Weight Loss Support if y'all want to know about it), I need a book. Something I can take out of my bag and have on me all the time (since I'm always carrying around a bag, be it a backpack or a purse), instead of just the internet... which I don't necessarily have most of the time while I'm traveling.

So yeah...

What would y'all say are the best books?

I don't eat a lot of processed foods. I almost never eat those frozen dinners or mixes... everything is generally homemade... or at a restaurant... generally fast food. So something that would cater to that? I dunno... I'm aiming to do caloriecount.com as much as possible... but if this past week was any guide... I won't have much... if any... internet access this summer. So yeah... and I don't have a phone or iTouch or any of those special gadgets... so yeah.

Thanks guys!

You said you will have no internet, but will you have a personal computer with you?

This is a calorie counting program that you can download from the site (for free) and use on your desktop. I like it. It doesn't have ALL the stuff that online sites do but a lot of things. I'm planning on using it when I lose my internet access for the summer job in a couple days.

No... I won't have my personal computer with me the majority of the time. That program sounds awesome... and I probably will download it... but I do need a book because I'll be spending days and days without any computer access at all... starting Monday actually. One week without it here, one week without it there. So... yeah. I need a book.

I'm heading to Half-Price in like... 30 minutes... so I'll just see what I find there.
