]I'm having a hard time losing weight. I'm one of those people that I can give you every bit of advice when it comes to losing weight or eating healthy but I don't apply to it myself. I love being outside and being active but I still maintain the same weight. I have been dealing with this for many many years. I usually get on a good track and start losing then something happens and throws off my whole schedule. I have been very active my whole life and I love playing sports. This is somewhat of a downfall for me because I have such and athletic build and I can tolerate working out for long periods of time. This is what I have to do to lose weight, but lets be honest....I don't want to work out for hours at a time. I'm currently doing the Jillian Michaels workout tape and I run/walk for about 30-45 mins. I'm gradually seeing results but not like I want. I guess I'm such sick and tired of seeing people doing half of what I do and losing weight so much faster, but its making me very discouraged. I'm hoping there is someone out there that is like me that we can exchange ideas and be a support system for each other.
Welcome Melissa. Please don't get discouraged! Since Chicks can be over-whelming at first, I suggest you look for a support group or challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated, find one you like that fits your needs, and just post to join.
Welcome! It can be frustrating to see others lose weight quickly, but, rest assured, often time slow and steady weight loss stays off in comparison to quick weight loss. Good luck!
