Default What did you do today to become closer to your goal?

What is the thing that you did today to come closer to your goal ? Weight or any other goal? Have you done anything or you are not doing a thing and just expect wonders to happen?

I ate fish and lettuce. I think I did a lot as I usually dont like cooking and dont like fish. Usually I do eat junk food. Good for me!

Good for you! I plan on going for a good walk/jog as soon as it warms up a little and the rain stops.

I did a one-hour run/walk outside. It was hard to get up because I get so little sleep with my toddler (he's never slept through the night in his whole life and he's nearly two years old), but I don't get many chances to exercise during the week and I have to take advantage when my husband's home!

Today, to get closer to my goal...I'm relaxing!! LOL! After six days of strenuous work and exercise, my muscles are begging me for a break. So I'm giving them one.

I may take a walk today, but my big plan is R&R...de-stressing.

I did a weight workout at 0600 this a.m., because my 3 year old was up super early after going to bed late. I thought, as long as I am up this early on a Sunday, I will do the weight workout I missed yesterday. I lifted and then walked at an incline--I feel better getting into my church clothes, after a workout, even a short one!

I also had an egg white omelet for breakfast and one pancake, while the rest of the family had lots of pancakes and bacon. I had fun making the pancakes with my youngest, but only needed to try one.

Today I made a commitment to myself to drastically cut down on my carb intake. I'm a bread addict, and my weight loss has slowed because of my carb addiction.

I made myself run 3 miles today even though I'm sick and feeling crappy.

I want to chime in, because I did a lot today. I was on my feet, walking around looking at stuff (nature museum) for about 6 hours, then came home and did Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs from Beachbody Insanity at night.

I also ate a sensible lunch (ham sandwich and egg salad sandwich) while at the museum and a not as good dinner (1 slice of a large cheese pizza and some Mac and Cheese), but with smaller portions than I used to eat.

I ate my filling veggie soup for lunch, recommitted to my daily water goal and I'm about to head out to take my bike to the shop for a tune up. (Talked hubby into buying a bike yesterday so we can go biking on the waterfront on fridays)
