Default Lurking around with a question on apporiateness of joining the 300+club

Hi,
I joined here a year ago, lost like 40 pounds and than went MIA. I'm not new to 3FC but I am new to the 300+ area.

See the problem is that when I went MIA I gained back all my weight...plus some. I weigh about 290 pounds and was wondering, can I still hang out here with you guys? I know I'm not offically 300+ but I'm so super close that I feel like here would be good because I'd have more in common with people who have such a large amount to lose.

I was just wondering what the protocol was, primarily. I don't want to offend anyone by joining this forum.

Thanks
Tara

honestly I have seen posts in the 300+ club by people in around the 200 mark... and in around the 175 mark. This section always has some pretty darn cool people here so join in, do some reading and make yourself at home as far as I am concerned.

Oh man---I *love* the 300 club even though I technically am not near 300, because you guys have the absolutely best "One positive thing about me" thread going. I read it every day---and though I'm kind of a depressed bummer of a personality, I'm always (despite my best efforts to remain bummed!) encouraged.

Positive. Encouraging. A friend to all. Plus funny. I wish you could all come and live next door....

Tara,
The 300+ community is the most loving, supportive, and understanding group I've found. They accepted my kids with open arms and my daughter April is no where near 300 pounds, what she needed was the sense of family and belonging in her journey, and she gets that here.
So I send you a and I look forward to getting to know you better.
All my love,
Faith

Hey Hey Tara!!! The more the merrier! Come on over and hang a while! I feel like Hiya, I wish all you guys lived next door! There should be 3FC living facilities where we could all get together and help each other! lol

I guess that's what we have here only it's a virtual home! I'm sure that we all have things that we talk about here that we can't or wouldn't ever dare talk about with somebody else! I know I do. My husband doesn't even know my weight and I would like to keep it that way! Sometimes, I don't even want to know what it is but alas, It's a necessary evil

Anyway, welcome to the family!! I know that you will be able to find the support and encouragement to keep on keepin on!
