I know this is weird, but do any of you have favorite bras? I am so desperate for a bra that gives good lift, if you know what I mean. My boobs are so saggy (too much info, I know. sorry). Any ideas (in a large size, please).
I am enjoying Lane Bryant bras right now. I like their underwire bra. I wear a 38 DDD and I know the one I went to had an AMAZING size range.
They also make alot of pretty bras and they are very reasonably priced. They often have good sales too. I liked the gal who measured me and I think she did a good job finding bras for me too.
I like Victoria Secret too. But I also REALLY like Bali, Lillyette and Olga bras as well. I wear all 4. LOL.
My VS has more lift and actually gives me the "lost 5 lbs" look. The others are just comfortable and fit good. My Olga is a minimizer and I love it except it's not good under tshirts. Has too much lace. I'm a 40DD so I understand needing some lift.
Can't give you a brand or advice on brands or sizes since we live in different countries, but I can advise that once you find THE ONE, buy one in every colour available. I'm currently wearing a Berlei no seam (T shirt) type and have one for every day of the week ranging from white to black with red, green, grey, skintone and purple in between. It's expensive to do, but just get one or two at a time. Before I found these, I was having a terrible time trying to find a comfortable fit. Don't talk to me about Made in China!!!!!
How big are we talking? I'm a 40 H in the Eloni bras, and I love them (actually, I need a smaller band size, at least, but I'm holding off as long as I can because I just bought these bras in February, and they were expensive!). Bonus? They're pretty!
another Wacoal fan - lots of support and lift but comfortable. However, right now I'm wearing Bali because I didn't want to spend as much for bras that would only fit for a couple of months or so.
The most important recommendation I have is to go get fitted properly to make sure you are wearing the correct size and a good style. Some department stores have trained fitters all the time, others will advertise special fitting events. Finding someone who really knows their stuff can make a huge difference in how good a bra fits and looks.
Lane Bryant push up bra! It's smooth, so it looks great under anything, it has underwire AND bone's in the side. Holds everything in place for me I am a 38D or sometimes a DD.
Just don't forget, as you drop those pounds the bras get too big fast! I have been mostly going with inexpensive bras from Walmart because of that. At one point, I was very uncertain of what size that I need so I went to Lane Bryant and spend $100 on bras. Three months later none of them fit any longer. Back to Walmart!
