Hi. I'm Crystal. I'm 35, a wife, and a stepmom. I've always battled my weight all my life, but unlike the other times, I've always gone for the quick fix, aka crash diets, fad diets, ect., but they never take. This time I am taking my time. I am doing a 1,400 calorie diet, and learning to eat the right kinds of foods that keep me fuller longer, that give me energy, and that are wholesome and good for me. I've lost 8 lbs in 5 weeks so its working. Slowly, but its working.

I am using another site to help with my weight loss, but I don't know if its against forum rules to mention it. I like their community, but sometimes the topics move a bit slowly, and you can never have too many weight loss buddies, and good conversation!
I'm looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends.
