Default calorie counts when sick

Sorry if this is too graphic for some, but I'm wondering what those who count calories do when they are sick. If you eat something and it doesn't stay down, does it count? I'm home sick from what was apparently bad sushi last night. I have no idea what to do about my calorie count for today. This is the first time I have been this sick since I started counting calories.

when i have that kind of illness that involves quick and violent ejection of intake, i dont count, i try to stay hydrated, even if its calories/sweet tea or flat soda. i dont go hog wild on food or liquids, i just give myself a pass to get better first while trying to not get dehydrated. if all you can handle is toast and hot tea, try some sugar in it. electrolytes are more important during food borne illnesses, though yogurt can help restore the flora and fauna of digestive system

Yes, if I'm sicking up, my calorie count is absolutely the last thing on my mind, and I'm not generally one to cut myself much slack on calorie counting. Stay hydrated and rest as much as possible.

If I am sick and either have no appetite or am vomiting, I skip counting for that day. If I'm sick and hungry like I get with a migraine, I definitely keep track!
