So my Mom's 50th was on Sat. I had nothing to wear and we were having a big surprise party for her. Had to do some shopping. I went to...DUN DUN DUN DUN...the mall. I haven't shopped at the mall for cloths in a decade. But that is where all the clothing stores are for not so fat ppl. I took my sister. A member of the skinnys herself. She knew all the stores and all the sales girls.
We ended up at Pseudio.I swear the music from Friday the 13th was playing in my head. My sis tells the sales girl what we were shopping for. She looks me up and down and says ok then starts looking at little dresses I couldn't fit my left boob into.
I start to panic. She's showing ma all these pieces of fabric that look miniscule. I know she's showing me them to aprove the look not the size but it is overwhelming. She asks my sis if she is looking too and shos her some stuff also.
So I wonder off and look at some things and pull a few things in a Large because that is all I can find. And I'm thinking where the **** is the XL in this joint?! I try the things on....and they fit. And I buy 2 of them. I was like WOW! I was convinced that I wouldn't be able to wear anything at all.
Yeah for you! I still haven't tackled the mall. After being delegated to the tiny little section of large clothes in the back of all the stores, I find the mall overwhelming, to say the very least. So I am very, very proud of you for attempting it at all!!
