Wow. 55 lbs and 5 sizes later, I received my first spontaneous compliment from anyone (a coworker). I'd begun to think I was either defective or scary!

Heh - It took awhile for people to notice for me, but pretty soon they become more frequent. Just you wait! I lost like 50+ before anyone said anything too.

Yeah! I think that sometimes people are afraid to comment. I started getting comments after 50 pounds.

It's true....that folks don't always know what to say or how to say it. "You look great." - to some folks is that you didn't look great before.

Nevertheless....I am so happy that you got that compliment!!!! You deserve it!

Count me in this group too. I had lost a little over 50 pounds before I received a compliment from a co-worker that didn't know I was dieting. Since then, I receive compliments daily.
