Default encouraging blogs/sites

Looking for more resources on SB and weight loss. Is there anything you read regularly?

I like reading the blogs here at 3FC...Karen(waistingtime) and Heidi both have links on their blogs to other ones.

My favorite food/SBD blog is Kalyn's Kitchen. http://kalynskitchen.blogspot.com/ Her recipes and pictures are great...she's also on Facebook.

I use the same site. My only problem with her site is first off, when you print off her recipes it doesn't say what phase its good for. Secondly I just made her Chicken Curry last week, and it says its okay on Phase one, but it has Cream of Chicken in it...and as one of the posts says down below, its not on plan. It makes me wary of her recipes a little, so I make sure I double check and know that everything in the recipe is okay. Its a great resource though!

PinkHoodie, I'm glad you brought that up because I should always add that little disclaimer. Kalyn is pretty SBD friendly, but I have noticed, too, that there are times when she does include ingredients that are "to be avoided" from the SBD lists. Thanks for pointing that out.

I agree about Kalyn's site; have been using it for years but you need to watch things. She has great archives and does a monthly round-up where she lists recipes with links from other sites. I get her in my newsreader. I follow several very inspirational blogs, most are not SB dieters though. If you'd like some links, I would be happy to give you some when I get home from vacation and have access to my desktop computer. My memory is horrible so if you'd like the URLs, post again Monday or PM me.

I made a binder that is broken off into sections for phase 1 friendly meals. Its really helped me stay organized, and be able to plan our meals easier. I also have food lists in the back for a reference.
