Default No cheating 'til Onederland! Rawr!

I am setting this thread up as a challenge for myself. In the past I have had trouble with my weightloss plan because I cheat and binge sometimes. I've been stuck in the 230's for six months because of my laxness. But no more!

My starting weight : 229, as of Apr 18
My current weight : 223.2, as of Apr 28
My target : Onederland
My quest : No cheat days until I reach it! None at all!

It may sound crazy impossible (or at least it does to me), but I got on this pony by thinking impossible (aim for 150 when I'm 280? Am I mad?!), and I'm going to keep riding towards that crazy dream.

I will be keeping this thread updated with my progress each week. Feel free to post as well if you like, I'm not territorial.

I am slowly learning that I can't have much of a cheat day or I maintain my weight. I do well all week then overdo it on Sunday (my day off) and undo all my good work for the week... I know I have to cut back on my cheats on Sundays... Now to decide just what to do. Maybe go cold turkey and NO cheats for a couple weeks and then have ONE treat on Sunday instead of a free for all?

Dont think of "cheat days" if you want a piece of cake take a small piece. If you want chips eat baked chips...there are healthy options that make you feel like you are cheating when you arent. My hubby has a swwet tooth, I mean BAD!! so I went to braums and bought him some frozen yogurt and I also bought low fat cinnamon graham crackers and make him ice cream sandwiches. It works out to 3 grams of fat and 100 calories and its satisfies his sweet tooth. Find what you crave a find the healthiest options for it.

My crave is salty...so I found some baked chips. I weigh them and have the "serving size" and figure that into my calories for the day. That way I am not cheating and I stay on plan...

Onederland is that wonderful day when you can say that the first digit of your weight is now a '1' as in 199! I can't wait.

You can definately do it... just stick with it!

For me, I can't do "cheat days"... that simply turns into a "binge on anything I can and everything I haven't eaten in the last month that I have been craving"... well, clearly that doesn't go over well. Now, I try to only do treats on special holidays/ occassions and plan ahead for the calories...
