Wink HI!! Im new here...

Hi, I'm new here to this forum. I joined so I can hopefully get the motivation from those whom are in the same situation as me, most of my friends go to the gym with me but are all skinny and don't see where i come from when it comes to my limits of working out. (ie)i can't run five miles in under 30 like they can. Seriously? haha

So, a little about myself. I'm 23 bout to be 24 this summer, and I have always been big all my life. But now I am morbidly obese. as of January 1, 2010 I tipped the scale at 338. Scared the crap out of me since this is the heaviest I have ever been. I have the typical medical problems, HBP(not on medication-the doc told me to bring my weight down and chaces this will improve), i suffer from anxiety, so anything unusual with my body that happens i will think the worst-hence I am afraid to push myself at the gym. my work and school schedule doesn't help my eating habits one bit either, making it a challenge for me to keep on track. My problem isn't eating junk foods, it's making sure i don't skip meals. and b/c of this, when i do eat, i binge. not a good thing. But other than that, I am working at it, I lost some weight, but I have a long way to go...hopefully some of you can help!!!

So, please if you have any tips on eating with a hectic schedule, any gym routines or simple meal plans you use would be great!! Hope to become friends with some of you!!!

Welcome. Start by cutting calorie and fat intake. Incorperate veggies and friuts on a daily and maybe start at the by starting with 30 minutes on the treadmill at a medium high speed and incline, and then using the free weights. Good luck with your goal! Much success to you!
