I'm so glad I've found this. Weight for me has always been an issue. It goes up and down and up and down, and round and round again and again
I'm what many would call a yo-yo dieter. But something made me want to change that. It was around the beginning of march, I decided to step on the scale finally and what I saw scared me. 260 lbs. I'm a short person, so I imagined myself looking like a butterball walking down the street. And then I thought about how hard it had become for me to do simple things like walking up a flight of stairs or getting up out of my seat without struggling, even walking left me out of breath so I knew it was time to finally do something and not just with short term intentions but something long term and lasting. I immediately cut of the daily snacks and candies I usually ate and I stopped ordering takeout or going for fast food. I began cooking healthier and filling my diet with fruits and vegetables and fish. Also I began a light daily 30 minute workout. I immediately noticed a change and in 2 weeks I was down to 247 lbs. That was all the motivation that I needed to join a gym and continue my journey. So far I have lost 34 lbs
and I plan to keep going down. Victory seems so far away but I will definitely be winning the war this time around
