Smile Please help me stay motivated!

Hello everyone! I am just joining today after realizing how far off track I have gotten! My Goal is to loose 40 pounds in a year...I just need to stay on track with my workouts!! I eat healthy, and I walk my dog every day for an hour, but since I have been diagnosed with a thyroid problem it has been hard for me to lose weight...I actually put on 40 pounds.

I start my workout plan tomorrow morning, bright and early and I'm ready. Thanks for sharing all your stories, everyone seems to be motivated by each other success stories and tips, I'm excited to get this started!

Good luck, and finding these girls is a great step in the right direction! I understand about the thyroid, I gained 40 pounds in 4 months before I had mine taken out because of a goiter.

You CAN do it!

Thanks for the support. I needed to hear it.

Today my crazy co-worker told me if I loose 20-30 pounds I would have smaller boobs. Are you kidding me? I almost burst into tears and came here to read some motivating comments.

Thanks again,

ps. I Started my workout routine today..day 2 tomorrow!

Ive lost over 80lbs twice in my life, and I was actually hoping my boobs WOULD get smaller...but it hasn't happen. Even at my lowest weight...only thing that changes was the band size. I think it depends on the person.

I am so sorry for what that woman said! Some people have simply removed the filter from their brain.

I know how hard it is to not let something like this bother you. Once, a few years back, I was at dinner with my whole family (there was about 15 of us), and my young brother, he was about 4 at the time, said very loudly, Sissy, you are fat! And of course it happened when things were quiet so everyone heard. I wanted to crawl into a hole and never come out. I knew I was too big, and I knew everyone else knew (obviously) but when its pointed out like that, it just hurts so much!

Take what that woman said and use it as motivation! Just keeping telling yourself, you know what lady, Ill show you!

But in the end, focus on yourself and forget everyone else! This journey is about you, and you alone. You have made a great choice to start this journey again.

Ill never understand people who can be so mean like that. I don't care how bad of a day someone is having, or anything bad going on in their life, it is NO excuse for being rude and hurting other people's feelings.

So, keep going girl! You can do this!! And forget the nasty naysayers!!!

some people just don't 'get it'. what's easier for them isn't particularly easy for US. the ones that make the nasty comments are the ones who could never be confident enough to make a positive change in their life! good for you to keep going
