Hi I'm sahmiam40. I'm a SAHM (stay at home mom) and I'm 40.

If only I was merely 40 pounds overweight!
Truth is I'm 70 pounds overweight and very depressed about it. I was an outwardly thin as well as internally thin gal until I got married. Birth control put 30 pounds on me in 3 months and it was downhill from there.
I've lost poundage at various times of my life, but never kept it off. I've tried weight watchers several times. I really like their programs but they are not available where I live now.
We're headed back to the states for our summer leave in a couple of months and I can't face my in-laws this fat again! I'm hoping that this forum can give me the support I need to begin light work-outs and eating healthier.
