Default Too few calories or just impatien?

My weight loss has stalled for the last couple of months and It's driving me INSANE! Now I know I'm getting closer to my goal and its going to be harder anyways, but lately I'm not sure if I'm not eating enough or still eating too much. I read somewhere that you should take what you want to weight and multiply by 10 to get your calorie limit. (anyone heard this?) So for me it should be around 1600 calories, and Ive been averaging about 1200 calories everyday. I struggled today to eat 1600 calories. I almost felt like I over ate. I know I shouldn't feel that way but I cant help but be programed to only eat so much. So should I continue trying to eat 1600 calories or just do what I have been doing?

It could definitely be that you're not eating enough. Also, for a woman you're tall, so you've got more tissue that needs calories to function properly vs a 5'2 woman.

If you're eating too little, your metabolism slows down.

Definitely try to eat 1600 calories a day for 2 weeks, and see if that makes a difference. I know what you mean about feeling like you're eating too much even when you're within your caloric intake. I've had the "calories/food=BAD" mentality for so long it took me a while to realize that a body is a living organism and it needs its fuel to function properly. We're so bombarded by images and ideas of what our outsides are supposed to look like, that we forget to give our body the sustenance it needs.

I think that you should try eating more for a couple days, and see how your body does with that. A lot of people here talk about zig zagging calories for a week. This confuses the body, and your metabolism should pick up again. I would also try kicking up your workouts, to see if that will help.
