Little NSV...turning down food
I surprised myself today. I had food budgeted into my calories, I was going to have 2 cups of V8 broccoli soup (160 cal) and some chicken for lunch. The suggested serving size of the soup is 1 cup, but it's low cal so I sometimes budget in two cups. Well I got home from my workout, all excited for lunch, and I poured a cup of soup in my bowl and thought "hmm, that looks like plenty enough food right there." Normally, I eat every morsel I budget in, if I'm full or not. So today was kind of an interesting feeling to actually recognize that I wasn't that hungry and cut back on some food.
Anybody else finding that you're learning to listen to your body more? Eat when you're hungry until you're satisfied instead of eating just to eat (even if it is planned).
