No sweets and low GI carbs

  • This is a post to keep me accountable.
    I was doing so good in past, and had just stopped eating sweets (including artificial sweeteners) and was losing weight. Then I got complacent and started having some artificial sweeteners in my tea/coffee. And then habit slowly grew to having one Vitatop muffin a day, and now to binging once a week.
    Now that I am diagnosed with PCOS, it is more important for me to lose weight, not only for vanity purpose but also for medical reason.
    So from today, I will have no sweet, no artificial sweetener. I will keep myself accountable in this thread.

  • Congrats on taking this step! I try to limit sweets, but completely eliminating them is a little too hardcore for me right now LOL I'll be here cheering you on though
  • I'm doing a NO JUNKIE MONTH OF MARCH self-challenge and a friend here, RONNIE, is taking that challenge with me. Mine are of the salty, crunchy kind and so far, so good: I think I can do this for sure ...
  • Thanks for cheering and supporting me. I have observed that I have lost weight steadily in past if I stop eating sweets. Hopefully it will work again this time.
